• on the day the visa is granted if you are in the same country
• on the day you make pathway in Australia on this visa if you are outside Australia

For this Australian visa, your parents and relatives are:

• your basic partner
• your own dependent child or stepchild
• your life partner’s dependent child or stepchild
• the dependent child or the stepchild of your or your partner’s dependent child or stepchild

You have the chance to include someone who holds a subclass 457 visa or subclass 482 visas if we provide them that visa on the basis they are a member of your family.

The near and dear ones who apply for the visa with you must meet our health and character requirements.

The loved ones who do not apply for the visa with you might also have to meet the basic requirements.

The Cost required for visa processing

The Australian visa costs AUD3,755 for the main applicant. 

There is also one of the charges for each family member who applies for the visa with you.

You are required to pay an extra charge called a second installment for any family member who is of age 18 years or older who:

• applies for the Australian visa with you, and 
• has less than the Functional English

You are also required to pay other costs for health checks, police certificates and the bio-metrics services. To work out what your Australian visa will cost use the Visa pricing estimator. The estimator does not take into account the second installment or other costs.

From where you can apply for this visa

You can be from Australia or can be an outsider when you apply for the visa. If you are in Australia you must hold a substantive visa or a Bridging visa A, B or C.

You can be in the Australia or outside it when we decide on your application.

Processing times required for the Visa application

Your application takes huge time to process if:

• you do not fill it in the correct manner
• you do not include all the documents present in the Australian Visa  we need or we need more information from you
• it takes us time to verify your information present in visa application

Your obligations related to Visa

You and your near and dear ones must obey all the Australian laws.

We highly expect that you will work for your nominating employer in regional Australia for at least 2 years. If you don’t, we might cancel your visa application.

You must commence your employment within 6 months of:

• Entry to the Australia if you were given the visa outside Australia
• the visa given date if you were granted the visa in Australia
